Welcome 2 Karachi is an upcoming Indian action comedy film,[1] directed byAshish R Mohan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Uzair Junejo. The film stars Arshad Warsi[2] and Jackky Bhagnani as pivotal leads. Music directors Jeet Ganguly and Rochak Kohli, will be composing music for this film. The film is set for a release on May 28 , 2015.[3]

Production[edit]

The film has been shot in various parts of the United Kingdom includingBradfordBirmingham and Wales and sets were recreated to resembleKarachi. During the shooting of scenes in Wales, the lead actors were mistaken as real Taliban people and the shoot was halted by Scotland Yardauthorities.[4] The Bradford Bazaar was used as the backdrop of the film's shooting in Bradford.[5] During the shoot, the airport set from Birmingham was stolen by truckloaders. During this, Bhagnani suffered a loss to due to which shooting came to a halt.[6]

Casting[edit]

Lauren will play role of a Pakistani ISI agent.[7] The role of Jackky Bhagnani was first offered to Irrfan Khan but due to other commitments Khan left the film.[8]

Critical Reception[edit]

The film received largely negative reviews from critics. Paloma Sharma of Rediff rated it 0.5 stars and said, "Welcome 2 Karachi is a sad excuse for screen space"[9] The film received a 14% Sahi (favorable) rating based on 30 critic reviews on the review aggregation site SahiNahi.[10] It has received an aggregate score of 3.6 (out of 10) on the review aggregating site TheReviewMonk, based on 29 critic reviews.[11]

Drishyam (English: Visual/The Sight) is an upcoming 2015 Indian thriller drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat. It features Ajay DevgnTabu andShriya Saran in the lead roles, and produced by Kumar Mangat PathakAjit Andhare and Abhishek Pathak. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. The film is scheduled for release on 31 July 2015.[3]

In October 2014, it was announced that Saif Ali Khan would take the lead role and reprise the role played by Mohanlal in the 2013 Malayalam predecessor,[4] but in November 2014, it was announced that Ajay Devgn would star in the Malayalam remake of the 2013 film Drishyam,[5] which will be produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures in association with Panorama Studios and directed by Nishikant Kamat. Plans then were to have Devgn reprise the role played by Mohanlal in the 2013 film.[6] Later it was announced that Tabu will be playing the role of Meera Deshmukh[7] a cop and Shriya Saran will play the role of Ajay Devgn's wife in the film.[8]

Filming[edit]

Principal photography for the film was slated to begin in February 2015. Ajit Andhare, the Chief operating officer of Viacom 18 Motion Pictures stated "Drishyam is an iconic film that leaves you spellbound and intrigued long after you have watched it. Its box office record in Malayalam & Telugu speaks for itself."[9] Actor Ajay Devgn had been in Canada to shoot snow scenes for his upcoming film Shivaay, but light snow conditions had him reschedule that film and return to India to instead begin Drishyam.[10][3] The First 20 Day Shooting schedule of the film began on 13 March 2015 in Goa and ended on 1 April 2015. The second schedule of the film will began on 2nd week of April.[11] The first look of the film was unveiled on May 29, 2015.[12]

The film follows the lives of two blundering terrorists on a mission to change the world. Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat play the young guns with lofty ideologies but ordinary talent who keep pace with a series of serendipitous high-energy, fast-paced, and exceptionally entertaining events that has a huge impact on world peace.[4]

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an upcoming Indian drama film directed by Kabir Khan, and produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh.[1] It features Salman KhanKareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.[2]Principal photography began in New Delhi in November 2014, and the film is scheduled for release on 17 July 2015.[3]

Principal photography began on 3 November 2014 in New Delhi, with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan participating. The second filming schedule took place at the ND Studios, Karjat. The third schedule of the film was held inMandawaRajasthan. On 7 January 2015, Khan was seen on the top of castle of Mandawa playing cricket with a young boy.[6] On 10 January 2015, Khan shot with school students in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district.[7]

Soundtrack

The music of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is composed by Pritam. Singer Nakash Azizwill lend his voice to Salman Khan for the first time.[8] The song in which its name has been shared during making is called "Beta Le Le Selfie" is going or about to release along with Dil Dhadakne Do.

Marketing

The teaser of the film was released on 28 May 2015 on Star TV at 7.58 pm. The first look of Salman Khan was unveiled on 26th May 2015.[9]
